MARTA Stations With Parking

MARTA parking is available at most train stations, with free daily parking for commuters or choose from nine stations that provide overnight parking for $5 or $8 (view long-term parking options). See the list below for all stations with parking to get directions and plan your trip.

North Atlanta/North Georgia

For commuters traveling on Ga. 400 and from neighborhoods such as Buford, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Roswell, Dunwoody and Sandy Springs, MARTA parking is available at:

North Springs MARTA Station

  • Type: Daily and overnight parking
  • Facilities: Two parking garages, long-term parking is gated
  • Station Area: North Springs Guide
  • Nearby Roads: Georgia 400 and Peachtree Dunwoody
  • Things to Know: Enter parking area off of Ga. 400 southbound or 7010 Peachtree Dunwoody Road. There is one parking garage for each of these station entrances, and you aren’t able to drive between the two unless you get back on Ga. 400 or city streets. Note that if you enter the parking area via Ga. 400, you can only exit to northbound Ga. 400.

Sandy Spring MARTA Station

  • Type: Daily and overnight parking near Ga. 400
  • Facilities: Parking garage, long-term parking is gated
  • Station Area: Sandy Springs Guide
  • Nearby Roads: Perimeter Center, Abernathy, Mt. Vernon
  • Directions: There is only one parking garage accessible via Perimeter Center West. Ga. 400 exit 5B is nearby if you are traveling on Ga. 400.

If you are traveling on I-85 South into Atlanta (including from North Carolina), or are commuting from Duluth, Norcross, Suwanee, Lawrenceville, Doraville, Chamblee or Brookhaven, the closest MARTA parking options are:

Doraville MARTA Station

  • Type: Daily and overnight parking
  • Facilities: Parking garage and lots

  • Directions: Enter the parking areas off of New Peachtree Road. There are multiple entrances to the parking lots and garage.

  • Nearby Roads: Peachtree Road, Dresden Drive
  • Directions: A small parking lot is in front of the station, accessible via Peachtree Road or Dresden Drive. A large parking lot is behind the station; enter it via Dresden Drive, Apple Valley Road or Fernwood Circle.

  • Directions: Parking lots are next to the station for daily parking, accessible via East Paces Ferry Road and Lenox Road. The overnight parking garage entrance is at approximately 979 Wright Avenue, one block away from the station.

Use the following MARTA station if you are traveling on I-75 south into Atlanta or live in Buckhead, Vinings, Marietta or Kennesaw.

Lindbergh Center MARTA Station

  • Type: Daily and overnight parking
  • Facilities: Three parking garages
  • Station Area: Lindbergh Center Guide
  • Nearby Roads: Piedmont Road, Sidney Marcus, Georgia 400
  • Directions: There are three parking garages, one for overnight parking and two for daily. View Lindbergh Center parking information to learn more and get directions.

East Atlanta/Augusta/South Carolina

If you are heading into Atlanta via I-20 West from Augusta or South Carolina, or live in Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park, Candler Park, Virginia Highland, Morningside, Druid Hills, East Atlanta, Decatur, Oakhurst, Kirkwood and Avondale, choose from the following MARTA parking lots (stations closest to downtown Atlanta listed first):

Inman Park/Reynoldstown Station

  • Type: Daily parking
  • Facilities: Two parking lots
  • Station Area: Inman Park/Reynoldstown Guide
  • Nearby Roads: Dekalb Avenue, Seaboard Avenue, Edgewood Avenue, Hurt Street
  • Directions: Parking lots are on each side of the railroad tracks, one off of Dekalb Avenue/Hurt Street and one off of Seaboard Avenue in Reynoldstown. There tends to be less crime on the Inman Park/Dekalb Avenue side of the station if you are deciding on which parking lot to use. Neighborhood street parking is also an option on the Inman Park side.

Edgewood/Candler Park Station

  • Nearby Roads: Dekalb Avenue, Oakdale Road
  • Directions: Enter the parking lot from Dekalb Avenue or Oakdale Road. On the other side of the railroad tracks you’ll also find neighborhood street parking on La France Street.

  • Directions: Parking lots are available on both sides of the railroad tracks near East Lake Drive. Enter the north parking lot from West Howard Avenue and Paden Circle. For the south parking lot near Oakhurst, enter via Park Place.
