The Midtown MARTA station is one of the most popular MARTA stations with easy access to a variety of Midtown attractions, nightlife, businesses, residences and restaurants. Explore the station layout and destinations near the two station exits to plan your trip.
Federal Reserve Exit
At the north end of the Midtown Station is tunnel/stairwell and elevator that goes to street level next to the Federal Reserve. Use this exit for:
- Midtown Nightlife District
- Piedmont Park
- Peachtree Walk Condominums
- Federal Reserve Monetary Museum
- Hilton Garden Inn Atlanta Midtown
- Marriott Residence Inn
- Turner Broadcasting
Note that late at night it is generally best to use the more populated main station exit and use crosswalks at street level to cross the street if needed.
10th Street Exit
The central and most obvious exit off the train platform goes to the main station concourse area with the option to exit the station via 10th Street or Peachtree Place. Use the 10th Street exit for the shortest walk to:
- Regency Suites Hotel
- Hyatt Atlanta Midtown
- McCamish Pavillion
- Piedmont Park
- Georgia Tech
- Margaret Mitchell House and Museum
Peachtree Place Exit
Also off the main station area is the Peachtree Place exit. Use this exit for access to:
Buses
There is only one area designated for MARTA buses at the Midtown MARTA station, on the west side of the station. Routes include bus 12 (West Midtown/Howell Mill to Cumberland Mall), 27 (Midtown/Cheshire Bridge Road), 36 (Virginia Highland/N. Decatur Road) and 99 (Monroe Drive/Boulevard).
Otherwise, there is no parking, but on the opposite side of the station from the buses you’ll find a passenger drop-off/pick-up area, taxi stands and Zipcars.
