On the south red and gold line, the Lakewood/Fort McPherson MARTA station is a neighborhood commuter station most known for having connecting bus service to Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood. It feels more like a tree house than a MARTA station with its elevation above the street, tree views and cabin-like high ceilings. Free daily parking is available at street level and arriving passengers can choose from two ways to exit the station: Lee Street and Murphy Avenue.
