Established as a railroad town in the late 1800s, East Point was the easternmost terminus of the Atlanta & West Point Railroad. Freight trains still travel through the area today, and the railroad is one of the most noticeable features upon arriving at the East Point MARTA station. The many tracks are next to one side of the station with downtown East Point on the other, which simplifies getting to and from MARTA.
An at-grade station, East Point’s two station entrances/exits are at street level with trains one level below. See below for how to use each to reach popular destinations and minimize walking time.
North Exit (Main Street/White Way)
Walk to the north end of the station to exit and reach:
