East of downtown Atlanta, the East Lake MARTA station is a quiet, neighborhood station. The area is popular with young families and professionals with plentiful parks and relatively affordable housing options. The station itself is at-grade, or at ground level, and arriving at the station involves going up one level from the train tracks to the concourse level. At that point, there are two ways to exit the station, both of which require a return back down one level to the street.
See below for the destinations near the station to plan your visit. Note that free daily parking lots can be found on both sides of the station.
