At the end of the gold rail line, the Doraville MARTA station is one of the more popular stations based on its location near I-285, making it the closest station to Gwinnett County and Norcross. Directly next to the former General Motors plant, this elevated station provides access to several bus routes and Buford Highway. Additionally, three parking lots and a long-term parking garage provide a variety of options for commuters.
Trains arrive on the upper level of the station, and all exits off the train platform lead down to one central concourse. With the GM plant on one side, passengers can only exit toward New Peachtree Road, where there are three ways to leave (or enter) the station:
South Exit
The exit in the south end of the station leads to:
- Parking lots 2 and 3
- Parking garage (which can be used for long-term parking)
- Flowers Park
- Doraville Municipal Court
- Doraville Police Department
- Doraville Public Library
Center Exit
The exit at the center of the station provides access to:
- MARTA bus routes
- Gwinnett County Transit (GCT) buses 10, 20 and 35
North Exit
Use the exit in the north end of the station near the wall of artwork for:
- Kiss and Ride area for passenger pick up or drop off
- Taxi stand (usually taxis are waiting at the station)
- Parking lots 1 and 2
- Central Avenue (which also connects with Buford Highway)
- Buford Highway Farmer’s Market
- Atlanta Eagles Sport Center
