Navigating the Decatur MARTA Station

The Decatur MARTA station is in downtown Decatur, a small city only seven miles east of downtown Atlanta. Even though it feels like a small town, downtown Decatur provides a large-city transit experience due to the density of restaurants, shops and housing around the station. Many events and festivals also take place directly above the station in Decatur Square, putting it in the middle of all the action.

The station has two levels, with the bottom level containing the train platform for east-west trains on the blue rail line. All stairs, escalators and elevators from the platform go to a main concourse level that has two exits to street level: Church Street and Swanton Way.
