Blue Line

MARTA Blue Line Map

MARTA’s blue line travels east and west through downtown Atlanta (see map), with stops in Decatur and Inman Park. It’s a great rail line for access to many residential areas, sports arenas, downtown jobs, tourist attractions and hip nightlife.

Note that green line trains travel on the same tracks as blue line trains, so make sure you board a train marked “Indian Creek” or “H.E. Holmes” to travel on the blue line.

Fun fact: The blue line was the first MARTA rail line to open (1979)

Hours are 4:45 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. to 1:15 a.m. on weekends and holidays. Download the MARTA on the Go App for the next arriving trains in real-time or view online at

Tip: Plan your trip with Google Maps to view which train to board in order to arrive at your destination on time.
