Get MARTA alerts via text, email, app or Twitter to be the first to know about service delays, elevator outages and other issues that may disrupt your commute.
Wondering about a train delay or bus problem? Get informed with MARTA alerts to be the first to know about service delays, elevator outages and other issues that may disrupt your commute. There are several ways to get notifications:
Create an account to receive MARTA alerts via email or text. You can also select just a specific line, station or bus route for notifications. We like the text option because it doesn’t require data or looking at your email. You can change your preferences at any time.
Download the MARTA On the Go app, or if you already have the app, make sure you turn on notifications in your phone settings, as the same alerts as above are sent to the app.
View the @MARTAService Twitter account and enable notification from Twitter on your phone, or post problems you see to @MARTAAlert to broadcast what’s happening on your commute for others to see (think Waze for transit). The @MARTAAlert option is a new tool developed by MARTA Guide and the MARTA Army to crowdsource service information.
