Atlanta Black Pride Weekend
From Sept. 3-7, head to Midtown for parties and a Piedmont Park festival for Black Pride Weekend. The festival is on Sunday and the 3rd Street block party is on Saturday closest to the North Avenue MARTA station.
AJC Decatur Book Festival
If the literary arts are more your style, the annual AJC Decatur Book Festival is Sept. 4-6 above the Decatur MARTA station. The festival includes author presentations, exhibits, live music and children’s area.
