MARTA to Walgreens

Several Walgreens pharmacies are in walking distance of MARTA stations, from downtown Atlanta all the way to the Perimeter. See the list below to explore your options. The Walgreens stores are listed from shortest to longest walking time from a train station.

Five Points Station

Rail Line: All

Just a 4-minute walk from the Five Points MARTA station, the downtown Atlanta Walgreens is in a historic building next to Woodruff Park. Take the Peachtree Street exit out of the station and turn left.

Brookhaven Station

Rail Line: Gold

Take a gold-line train to the Brookhaven MARTA station for the Walgreens in Brookhaven. Cross over Peachtree Road at the stoplight next to the station. Walking time is about four minutes.

North Avenue Station

Rail Line: Red and Gold

A 10-minute walk away from the North Avenue MARTA station, the Midtown Walgreens is on North Avenue near Emory Hospital Midtown. Turn left on North Avenue after exiting the station.

Dunwoody Station

Rail Line: Red

Turn right on Hammond Drive from the Dunwoody MARTA station to reach the Walgreens at the Perimeter Center. Walking time is about 13 minutes. Bus 5 and 87 depart from the train station and stop nearby if you want to ride part of the way. It is free to ride the bus if you are transferring from the train.

Chamblee Station

Rail Line: Gold

The Walgreens in Chamblee is also a 13-minute walk away from the Chamblee MARTA station. Follow the signs pointing to the buses (not to Chamblee Tucker Road) to exit the train platform. Then take the Peachtree Street exit out of the station and view this walking map.
