Atlanta’s City Winery is a bar, restaurant and performance venue at 650 North Avenue, which is on bus route 899 and next to Ponce City Market. In addition to live music, enjoy special events including the Atlanta Winter Wine Festival, jazz brunches and comedy shows.
Bus 899 travels between the King Memorial and North Avenue train stations. You can get on the bus at these stations or at an appropriate bus stop on North Avenue, Ralph McGill Blvd. or Jackson Street in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. Exit at the intersection of North Avenue and Glen Iris — the bus ride is just 11 minutes from North Avenue (view map).
Alternate bus routes are bus 2 and 102. Both stop on Ponce de Leon Avenue and require just longer walk from the bus stop to City Winery (about 2 minutes vs just walking across the street). Bus 2 travels between the North Avenue and East Lake train stations and bus 102 between North Avenue and Edgewood/Candler Park stations.
Train + Uber or Lyft
If you are uncomfortable riding the bus, you can request an Uber or Lyft car at the North Avenue (red and gold line) or Inman Park (blue line) MARTA station.
You can also walk or bike to City Winery via the BeltLine Eastside Trails. Exit the trail via Ponce City Market near the train shed and go down to street level.
