For the 2020 New Year, head to the East Atlanta Village for the NYEAV celebration with live music, rooster drop and fireworks. This event replaces the Peach Drop, which has been cancelled this year.

Two MARTA buses go directly to NYEAV:

Bus 74

Bus 74 offers the most direct ride to the New Year’s Eve event. You can connect with the bus at the Inman Park MARTA station on the blue rail line. You can also get on the bus at any bus stop on Moreland Avenue between Dekalb Avenue and Flat Shoals Avenue and on Flat Shoals Avenue/Road.

This route is a great option if you live in Inman Park, Reynoldstown, Little 5 Points or neighborhoods southeast of the East Atlanta Village. There is free daily MARTA parking at the Inman Park station, which is also convenient to Old Fourth Ward, Virginia Highland and Candler Park neighborhoods.

Note that it is free to ride the bus if you are transferring from a train, and the bus ride from the station to the NYEAV is only 15 minutes.

Bus 107

Bus 107 departs from the Georgia State and Indian Creek MARTA stations on the blue rail line. The bus travels on Memorial Drive, Bill Kennedy Way, Glenwood Avenue and Covington Highway. You can easily hop on the bus at bus stops in neighborhoods including Grant Park, Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, Glenwood Park and Ormewood Park.

Other Options

Two additional buses depart from the Inman Park MARTA station and stop within two blocks of the event as other options:
