The American Craft Show takes place at the Cobb Galleria Centre in March. As one of the largest juried fine craft shows in the Southeast, the event features 250 of the country’s top contemporary craft artists, specializing in everything from handmade ceramics to fine jewelry, apparel, furniture, home décor and textiles. Explore the best transit options below for reaching the event.
MARTA Train + Lyft or Uber
The fastest way to reach the Cobb Galleria Centre from MARTA is to request a Lyft or Uber car at one of the neaby train stations for a 15-minute car ride. Choose from these options:
- Take a red or gold line train to the Arts Center MARTA station to request a car. Use this option if traffic is clear on I-75N.
- Take a red line train to the Medical Center MARTA station. A car ride from this location is on I-285, so check traffic.
MARTA Bus
MARTA bus 12 departs from the Midtown MARTA station on the red and gold line. It is free to ride the bus if you are transferring from a train. Note that this is about a 45-minute bus ride followed by a 12-minute walk. Exit the bus on Akers Mill Road just after the bus turns left on Akers Mill. Use Google Maps to get walking directions.
CobbLinc Bus
Cobb County also operates bus 10 that travels from the Arts Center MARTA station on the red line to the Cobb Galleria area Mondays-Saturdays. Exit at the same bus stop on Akers Mill Road. You can transfer for free from MARTA to the CobbLinc bus. However, before you start your trip, make sure you add cash value to your Breeze Card to cover the return trip from Cobb County back to MARTA. MARTA trips loaded on your card will not work on the bus. View CobbLinc routes and schedules to learn more.
