Georgia State Station

If you’re traveling to or through downtown Atlanta on the blue or green line, hop off the train at the Georgia State MARTA station for the Waffle House next to the station on Piedmont Avenue.

The Waffle House in Brookhaven (northeast of Atlanta) is also right next to a station, and is conveniently one stop away from Lenox Square Mall if you’re out shopping. Take a gold line train to the Brookhaven MARTA station to reach this location.

For a small-town experience, take a blue-line train to the Decatur MARTA station for the Waffle House on the Decatur Square. Window shop and walk around the area before or after your meal. Take the Swanton Way exit out of the station (vs Church Street) for a more direct walk). The restaurant is on N. McDonough Street near the gazebo.

Peachtree Center

Two Waffle House locations are in walking distance of the Peachtree Center MARTA station in downtown Atlanta. The Courtland Street location is 6-minutes away on foot and near university housing. Use the Ellis Street/Peachtree Street East exit for the shortest walk. The more scenic Waffle House is in the opposite direction and is next to the SkyView Ferris wheel and Centennial Olympic Park on Andrew Young International Blvd. Use the John Portman/Peachtree Street West station exit to reach this location.

East Point

On the south red and gold lines, the East Point MARTA station is a 7-minute walk away from another Waffle House. This is your best location for a quick MARTA excursion from the Atlanta airport if you have a layover.

Lindbergh Center

Centrally located on the red and gold lines, the Lindbergh Center MARTA station is also a 7-minute walk away from a Waffle House. You have to cross busy Piedmont Avenue to get to the restaurant though.

Midtown/North Avenue

The Tech Square Waffle House on the Georgia Tech campus is in between the North Avenue and Midtown MARTA stations on 5th Street. Walking time is about 10 minutes from both stations.
