The Buckhead Fine Arts Festival is a two-day fine arts outdoor festival in September closest to the Buckhead MARTA station on the red line. The event takes place in the Buckhead Village and features approximately 100 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists, jewelers and more. Artist demonstrations and live acoustic music are also part of the festivities.
Connect with bus 110 at the Arts Center, Buckhead or Brookhaven MARTA stations for the quickest commute and exit near the intersection of Peachtree Road with Roswell Road. It is free to ride the bus if you are transferring from a train (tap your Breeze Card).
- Take a red line train to the Buckhead MARTA station
- Follow the signs to the Peachtree Road exit and use the pedestrian tunnel underneath the street
- Turn left on Peachtree Road at street level
- Walk about 15 minutes, crossing over Piedmont Avenue. In about a block or two, any side street on the left will take you to the festival.
The Buckhead Fine Arts Festival is organized by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, LLC and a board of experts in various artistic disciplines, which has a long history of building some of the most notable events in the south with several holding spots in the TOP 100 in the nation. The festival will uphold the highest standards supporting the arts and offer participating artists the environment to nurture an appreciation for their skills.
