Ormewood Park is a historic and former streetcar neighborhood in Southeast Atlanta. Near several bus routes and the East Atlanta Village, the neighborhood has gained popularity due to its proximity to the BeltLine. Plus, the Inman Park MARTA station on the blue and green line is a short drive away and has free daily parking.
Choose from the following bus routes to reach the neighborhood. We recommend using Google Maps for specific bus schedules and walking directions and the MARTA on the Go app for real-time bus locations.
Bus 4 departs from the Inman Park MARTA station, with a commute time of 5-10 minutes depending on traffic and the bus stop you choose. The bus travels a long way down Moreland Avenue, so take your pick of stops after crossing over I-20.
Bus 9 also departs from the Inman Park station and travels down Moreland, but you’ll have to exit the bus at Glenwood Avenue, at which point the bus turns and travels east through the East Atlanta Village.
Bus 32 departs from the Five Points MARTA station and travels along Confederate Avenue, the south edge of the neighborhood. It also stops in Grant Park near Zoo Atlanta and at a Kroger. Commute time is longer on the bus, about 30 minutes.
If you are heading to Glenwood Park or the north end of Ormewood Park, consider connecting with bus 74 at the Five Points MARTA station. Commute time is about 15 minutes on the bus.
Lastly, bus 107 departs from the Inman Park MARTA station and like bus 9, you’ll have to exit at Moreland and Glenwood Avenue or a stop or two before.
