Snellville is a small city in Gwinnett County that is 25 miles northeast of Atlanta. There is no MARTA service in the area, but there is a commuter bus that connects with the MARTA system.

Directions

The GRTA Xpress 419 bus operates Monday-Friday and travels between the Civic Center MARTA station and the Snellville Park and Ride lot at the Snellville First Baptist Church, 2400 Main Street. Commute time ranges from 1 hour and 20 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.

It is free to transfer from MARTA rail to the GRTA Express bus. However, if traveling from Snellville, you must have cash value on your Breeze Card. One-way fare is $4. If you use a Breeze Card for payment, there is a free transfer to MARTA rail or bus.

If you’d rather request an Uber or Lyft car for part of the trip, take a blue line train to the Indian Creek MARTA station and request a car there for the shortest commute. New Uber riders can use promo code MARTAGuide to get $20 off your first trip.
