The High Museum of Art is Atlanta’s major art museum next to the Arts Center MARTA station on the red and gold lines. A variety of visual art exhibits change throughout the year or attend one of the many special events including family programs, museum tours, summer camps and Friday night live music.
- Take any red and gold line train to the Arts Center MARTA station.
- Exit the train and follow the signs pointing to Arts Center Way, which requires going up three levels (avoid exiting via West Peachtree Street). Elevators are available if needed
- At street level, the High is just across the street where you’ll find a stairway and elevator that goes to the courtyard next to the main entrance
Note: If you are commuting from the blue or green line, travel to the Five Points MARTA station and transfer to the first northbound train.
Admission is free to Fulton County residents on the first Saturday of each month.
