MARTA to Clarkston

Clarkston is an Atlanta suburb next to I-285 and North Dekalb Mall. Current planning is underway to redevelop the downtown area to add more retail, housing and transportation options. Although there isn’t a MARTA station nearby, Clarkston does have two buses that connect with MARTA rail. See below for transit options.

MARTA Bus

Connect with bus 120 or bus 125 at the Avondale MARTA station on the blue line. It is free to transfer from rail to bus. If you are traveling from the red or gold line, transfer to an eastbound train marked ‘Indian Creek’ to reach Avondale. Bus 120 is a shorter commute, approximately 13 minutes, and the ride on bus 125 is about 21 minutes to the downtown area. Use OneBusAway for real-time bus arrivals at the station or view bus schedules via the MARTA on the Go app.

Uber

If you don’t want to ride a bus, request an Uber or Lyft car from the Avondale MARTA station. Commute time is about 11 minutes via car. Use promo code MARTAGuide to get $20 off your first ride with Uber.
