Deepdene Park is the largest section of the historic Olmsted Linear Park. Near the East Lake MARTA station, the park was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted Sr. and includes paths that wind through wooded areas and around a stream.
To reach the park, take a blue line train to the East Lake MARTA station. If you are traveling from the red or gold rail line, transfer at Five Points to the eastbound train platform and board a train labeled “Indian Creek.” After exiting the fare gates, keep right to follow the signs pointing to North Parking/Dekalb Avenue. Walk through the parking lot to the curved Padan Circle then turn left on East Lake Drive. At Ridgecrest Road, turn right. Total walking time is about 15 minutes (view walking map).
