Sumner Park is a public park in East Point, Georgia at 1889 Lexington Avenue. The park has a baseball field, tennis court, playground and the Dick Lane Velodrome.
To reach the park on MARTA, board bus 93 at the East Point MARTA station on the red/gold rail line. It is free to transfer to the bus from a train. The bus will pass a small park on the right before reaching Sumner Park. Signal the bus to stop as soon as you see the large park on the left (see map), which is right after Lumpkin Street/Warren Way. Total commute time is about five minutes.
