The Art Institute of Atlanta is located at 6600 Peachtree Dunwoody Road NE near the Sandy Springs MARTA station on the red rail line. The school offers programs in design, media, fashion and culinary arts.
To get to the Sandy Springs MARTA station, connect with a northbound train marked “North Springs” at the Lindbergh Center MARTA station. The North Springs train also travels to the airport and downtown Atlanta, but after 9 p.m. it only departs from Lindbergh Center.
There’s a fee shuttle at the Sandy Springs MARTA station to campus and it is also a short walk away. Take the Mt. Vernon Highway exit out of the station and go up the stairs or elevator at the end of the tunnel. Walk west (away from the station parking decks) on Abernathy Road then turn right on Peachtree Dunwoody Road. Walking time is about five minutes (see walking map).
