The Atlanta Streetcar is a new electric trolley line in downtown Atlanta that stops at the Peachtree Center MARTA station and travels in a loop to area attractions. Fare is $1 per ride or purchase a day pass (view all fare options). Fare can be purchased via vending machines at streetcar stops or via the new ATL Streetcar app (for Android and iPhones).

For easiest access to the streetcar on MARTA, take any red or gold line train to the Peachtree Center station and follow the signs to Ellis Street then to Peachtree Street East. The streetcar stop is in front of the station entrance (see picture above). From the station, the streetcar travels in one direction only toward Centennial Olympic Park before turning and traveling east back toward downtown.

If you are traveling to the Martin Luther King Historic Site, use the same MARTA station exit and turn left on Peachtree Street and walk a block to Auburn Avenue and turn left, then right on Park Place for the streetcar stop next to the park.
