Norcross is an Atlanta suburb and historic railroad town northeast of downtown, closest to the Doraville MARTA station on the gold rail line. Near the intersection of I-85 and I-285, the area contains the northern stretch of Buford Highway and neighbors Dunwoody, but it is not MARTA accessible.
Due to its location in Gwinnett County, Norcross is not part of the MARTA system. However, there are regional buses operated by Gwinett County Transit (GCT) that connect with the Doraville station. Look for routes 10A or 10B (view schedules) at the station. It is free to transfer from MARTA to a GCT bus, however, for the return trip on GCT, you’ll need to have cash value on a Breeze Card or a GCT fare.
Take a gold line train to the Doraville MARTA station and arrange for a car service like an area taxi (many wait at the MARTA station), Uber or Lyft. Use promo code MARTAGuide to get $20 off your first ride with Uber. Sign up here. Note that commute time in a car from Doraville to Norcross is about 12 minutes without traffic.
