MARTA to the Callanwolde Arts Festival

The Callanwolde Arts Festival is an indoor festival at the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center at 980 Briarcliff Road NE. The two-day event features approximately 80 painters, photographers, sculptors, metalwork, glass artists, jewelers and more. The festival also includes artist demonstrations, live acoustic music and gourmet food trucks. Admission is $5 and supports the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center.

The closest MARTA station is the Inman Park MARTA station on the blue/green rail line, though Callanwolde is not in walking distance. To get there on MARTA, board bus 6 at the Inman Park or Lindbergh Center MARTA station. The bus stops near the front of the building near the intersection of Ponce de Leon Avenue and Briarcliff Road.

You can also board bus 2 at the North Avenue or Decatur station and exit at Ponce de Leon and Briarcliff Road, though walking time is longer (about 12 minutes). There is a free transfer to buses from the train.

Don’t want to ride the bus? Request a Uber or Lyft car at the Inman Park or North Avenue MARTA station. Use promo code MARTAGuide to get $20 off your first ride if you are new to Uber.
