In between the West Lake and Ashby MARTA stations, Mozley Park is a historic neighborhood and park west of downtown Atlanta. The area is primarily residential with an elementary school and public park (Mozley Park). The park features a swimming pool, playground, softball fields, basketball courts and a tennis court. Additionally, the PATH Lionel Hampton trail also runs through the park, which travels to the BeltLine Westside Trail and Washington Park near the Ashby MARTA station.
Train and Walking Directions
- Take a blue line train to the West Lake station (transfer at Five Points if needed to a westbound train marked H.E. Holmes)
- Exit the station via the parking lot and keep left to reach Browning Street
- Walk straight ahead to reach the neighborhood and the park (less than 10 minutes walking time)
Two buses travel to the Mozley Park neighborhood. Board bus 3 at the Five Points or H.E. Holmes station for easy access to the park off Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. Or connect with bus 13 at Five Points or West Lake station on the blue rail line, which travels further into he neighborhood.
