The Savannah School of Art and Design (SCAD) has an Atlanta campus at 1600 Peachtree Street NE near the Arts Center MARTA Station on the red and gold rail line. Walking time is about 15 minutes to the main building and the ACA residence hall and sculpture studio are conveniently across the street from the train station (via the Arts Center Way exit).
Directions
- Take any red or gold line train to the Arts Center station and exit via West Peachtree Street.
- Turn right on West Peachtree Street and walk two blocks to where West Peachtree Street merges with Peachtree Street.
- Turn left on Peachtree Street. SCAD is a short walk away on the left side of the street.
If the weather is bad or walking is not an option, bus 110 travels to SCAD. Board the bus at the Arts Center MARTA station for the quickest route. It is free to ride the bus if you are transferring from the train. Otherwise, regular fare is $2.50 for a one-way trip. You can pay exact cash on the bus or use a Breeze Card.
