The Dekalb-Peachtree Airport is located at 2000 Airport Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30341, across the street from the Chamblee MARTA station on the gold rail line. There’s a restaurant, places to watch planes take off and land and a variety of flight tours on site.
Take a gold line train marked “Doraville” to reach Chamblee (unless Doraville is your starting station). If you are traveling from North Springs, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Medical Center or Buckhead, take a southbound train to the Lindbergh Center MARTA station, exit the train and wait on the platform for the next gold line train.
The airport is easily visible upon arriving at the station. Follow the signs pointing to Chamblee Tucker Road to exit the train platform. At street level turn right to reach Chamblee Tucker Road on the side of the parking lot and turn left. At the stoplight, turn right on New Peachtree Road then left on Clairmont Road. Walking time is about 22 minutes (see walking map).
You can also board bus 19 on the New Peachtree Road side of the station and exit the bus at Airport Road. The bus also connects to the Decatur MARTA station on the blue rail line.
