MARTA to the International Airport Terminal

The Atlanta International Terminal at 2600 Maynard H. Jackson Jr. Blvd. is a separate building (and in a different location) from the domestic terminal. There is a 24-hour shuttle to and from the Airport MARTA station, or travel direct to and from the Lakewood/Ft. McPherson MARTA station via MARTA bus.

MARTA Directions

Airport Shuttle

  1. Take any southbound train to the Airport MARTA Station, which travels directly into the domestic terminal.
  2. Exit the train and go down the escalator/steps to exit the station.
  3. Turn right after going through the fare gate to enter the baggage claim area in the South Terminal.
  4. Immediately turn right again and exit out of the building (W-2 door), making sure to follow signs to Ground Transportation. A shuttle bus is available just outside the door that is clearly marked as the international shuttle.

Commute time on the shuttle is about 12 minutes.

Bus 191 travels directly to the international terminal in 12 to 15 minutes from the Lakewood MARTA station. Use the MARTA on the Go app for schedules and real-time location of the buses on the map. It is free to transfer to the bus from the train. Frequency of the bus is every 40 minutes, so plan your rail commute accordingly to connect with the bus.
