The Historic Old Fourth Ward Park is across from Ponce City Market and next to the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail. Features include a stormwater pond, playground and regular festivals and events.

The two closest MARTA stations to the Old Fourth Ward Park are Inman Park on the blue/green line and North Avenue on the red/gold line. Choose from the below options:

Walk/Bike

Take the North Avenue exit out of the North Avenue MARTA station and turn left on North Avenue and walk about 30 minutes.

The more pleasant option is to exit at the Inman Park MARTA station on the blue/green line, following the signs to Inman Park after exiting the fare gates. Walk through the bus area at street level until reaching Edgewood Avenue, which dead ends at the station. Keep walking straight ahead for about a block and turn right on Elizabeth Street. Elizabeth Street connects with the Eastside BeltLine trail. A ramp sidewalk on the left about 10 minutes down the path provides access to the park.

Bus

Starting August 18, 2018, the new bus 899 will provide service to the Old Fourth Ward Park from the North Avenue MARTA station with stops on Glen Iris Drive, less than a block away from the park. We recommend exiting at the last stop on North Avenue at the intersection with Glen Iris or near Glen Iris and Morgan Street, where there is a road that leads back to the park.
