The Virginia-Highland Tour of Homes is an annual event during the winter holiday season that provides an inside look at the homes in the historic Virginia Highland neighborhood. In addition to viewing the architecture and interior design, local restaurants provide food tastings along the tour route as an extra feature.

Purchase tickets online or on one of the tour dates at the YWCA on Highland Avenue. Choose from the following options for your commute:

MARTA Bus

There are two bus routes that travel near the tour check-in.

Bus 16 stops in front of the YWCA and goes through the entire neighborhood on N. Highland Avenue. You can get on the bus at the Five Points station or along N. Highland Avenue from Freedom Parkway north to Johnson Road. The route ends at Loehman’s Plaza off Briarcliff and North Druid Hills Road. If you are traveling from downtown,

Bus 36 departs from the Midtown and Avondale stations and stops at the intersection of Virginia Avenue and N. Highland Avenue.  Exit the bus and walk south on N. Highland Avenue (towards Yeah Burger) about one block to reach the YWCA.

MARTA + Uber

Request an Uber (or other car service) at the Midtown MARTA station on the red/gold line or the Inman Park MARTA station on the blue line for the shortest commute. Use promo code MARTAGuide to get $20 off your first Uber ride.
