Clark Atlanta University is a private, historically black university at 223 James P Brawley Dr. SW. There are several options for getting to the campus on transit:
The AUC Shuttle provides service to Clark Atlanta from the West End MARTA station on the red/gold line and the Vine City MARTA station on the blue/green line during AUC Woodruff Library hours. At West End, the shuttle drops off and picks up passengers across the street from the MARTA station.
The closest MARTA station is Vine City on the west rail line, though the area isn’t the safest for walking. Use caution or bring a bike. Take a blue or green line train to the Vine City MARTA station (transfer at the Five Points Station to any westbound train if you are traveling from the red or gold line). From the station, take the Electric Avenue exit out of the station and turn left. At the first intersection keep right on Maple Drive, right on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, then left on Walnut Street (see walking map). Walking time is less than 15 minutes.
Riders can also get on bus 13 or bus 3 at the Five Points (be sure to board a westbound bus 3 toward H.E. Holmes). Bus 3 travels down Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and bus 13 on Fair Street through the campus.
