The Candler Park Music and Food Festival is a 10-minute walk away from the Edgewood/Candler Park MARTA station and features two days of music performances. Tickets are required for entry, and a VIP option is available.
- Take a blue or green line train to the Edgewood/Candler Park MARTA Station (green line only travels to Candler Park on weekdays). If you are traveling from the red or gold line, transfer at Five Points to the eastbound platform and get on a train labeled “Indian Creek” or “Candler Park”.
- After exiting the fare gate at the station, follow the signs pointing to North Parking.
- At street level, head west on Dekalb Avenue toward the stoplight and turn right on Oakdale Road and right on McClendon Avenue.
As an alternate walking route, head east from the station to Mell Avenue and turn left.
Trains operate every 20 minutes on the weekend and on weekdays after 8:30 p.m. Use the MARTA on the Go app for real-time train arrivals to avoid long waits on the train platform.
If you’d rather bike to the event, the PATH Stone Mountain trail connects with the park. The protected bike trail starts at Boulevard at Freedom Parkway near downtown and travels to Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park and Candler Park (with a BeltLine connection near King of Pops/Skate Park). A portion of the trail is also next to the East Lake and Decatur MARTA stations. Bike valet available at the festival.
