The East Lake MARTA station is on the blue rail line at 2260 College Avenue. On the edge of Atlanta and the City of Decatur, the station is in a residential area with a few restaurants and parks in walking distance. Choose from two large parking lots for free daily parking or connect with buses that travel to popular destinations including the Fernbank Museum of Natural History and Ponce City Market.
Directions
Only blue-line trains travel to this station, which are marked “Indian Creek” (eastbound) or “H.E. Holmes” (westbound). Five Points is the central station for changing trains if needed. If you are traveling from the airport, get on the first departing train and ride to the Five Points MARTA station. Exit the train and follow signs to the eastbound train platform and wait for an “Indian Creek” train there.
Train Schedule
Train service starts around 5 a.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. on weekends. As of March 30, 2020, train frequency is every 20 minutes until further notice. Use the MARTA on the Go app or marta.io for real-time train arrivals or view temporary train schedules.
