The Atlanta History Center is located at 130 West Paces Ferry Road NW, closest to the Buckhead MARTA station on the red rail line. It is the future home of the Cyclorama, and the museum also includes a variety of exhibits and gardens along with the Swan House and Smith Farm House.

There are two ways to reach the Atlanta History Center on transit:

The easiest commute option is to take bus 110, which travels along Peachtree Road/Peachtree Street from downtown to Buckhead. You can board the bus at just about any point along Peachtree Street, or for the shortest ride, connect with the bus at the Buckhead MARTA station (Peachtree Road exit) or at the Lenox or Arts Center MARTA stations.

From Buckhead, take Peachtree Road exit out of the station (not via the bridge) and go up the first set of stairs after exiting the fare gate. At street level is a bus stop for bus 110. Tell the bus driver that you’d like to exit at West Paces Ferry Road. Once off the bus, walk west on West Paces Ferry (toward Johnny Rockets) about 10 minutes to reach the history center (see bus and walking map).

You can walk the entire way if desired. Walking time is approximately 26 minutes. Follow the same directions above to exit the station. Turn right on Peachtree Road and follow it around to West Paces Ferry Road and turn right again.
