The Medical Center MARTA station is on the red line at 5711 Peachtree Dunwoody Road near several hospitals and medical offices. There aren’t many restaurants in walking distance, but there are two hotels and some office buildings, making this station best for visiting a doctor’s office or going to work if you have a job nearby. If you’re looking for a place to live, there are several apartment communities in the area, but plan for a long walk or use the free daily parking at the station.
Directions
On MARTA, board a northbound train marked “North Springs” to get to this station if you are traveling from the airport or downtown Atlanta. If you are commuting from Doraville, Chamblee, Brookhaven or Lenox, go south to Lindbergh Center, exit the train and wait for a North Springs train at that station.
Via car, this station is off I-285 at exit 26 Glenridge Drive (eastbound only) or exit 28 Peachtree Dunwoody Road (westbound only). From Georgia 400, it is exit 3.
Train Schedules
Train service starts around 5 a.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. on weekends. As of March 30, 2020, train frequency is every 20 minutes until further notice. Use the MARTA on the Go app or marta.io for real-time train arrivals or view temporary train schedules.
