The Decatur MARTA station is below the Decatur Square at 400 Church Street. On the blue line, the station is one of the safest and most walkable in the rail system, with many restaurants, bars, unique shops, apartments, condos and festivals in walking distance. It’s also a great station for running errands; walk to CVS, UPS Store, a library, rec center, banks, fitness classes, hair salons and more. Just a 13-minute train ride from downtown Atlanta, tourists and business travelers can also book a room at two nearby hotels.
Train Schedules
Train service starts around 5 a.m. on weekdays and 6 a.m. on weekends. As of March 30, 2020, train frequency is every 20 minutes until further notice. Use the MARTA on the Go app or marta.io for real-time train arrivals or view temporary train schedules.
