The Georgia State Stadium (formerly Turner Field) is at 755 Hank Aaron Drive SW, closest to the Georgia State MARTA station on the blue/green rail line. It is the the starting location of several road races and used for Georgia State University football games. (Looking for Braves baseball? Head to SunTrust Park.)

There are several ways to get to the stadium without a car:

Walk/Bike

It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the Georgia State Stadium from the Georgia State MARTA station on the blue/green rail line. Take the Piedmont Avenue exit out of the station and turn left and walk south until you reach the stadium. Bring your bike with you on MARTA for a faster commute.

Uber/Lyft

If you’d rather not walk, but still want to beat the crowds, have Uber or Lyft pick you up at the King Memorial or Georgia State station or at your home if you live in the nearby area. Use promo code MARTAGuide to get $20 off your first ride.

MARTA Bus

Bus 55 departs from the Five Points station and travels to the stadium. Or transfer to bus 832 at the West End MARTA station (slightly longer commute). Plan ahead and look at the bus schedules online to know departure times, or use the MARTA on the Go app for real-time trains, bus locations, schedules and maps.
