Chastain Park offers outdoor music in the summer in the Chastain Park Amphitheater and recreation throughout the year. It is not near a MARTA station, but there are several ways to get there on transit:

MARTA + Uber

The recommended commute option is to use Uber to get to and from the venue for the last leg of the trip. Save money by riding a red line train to the Buckhead MARTA station at 3360 Peachtree Road. This station is closest to the park, about four miles away. Take the first Peachtree Road exit out of the station or use the Buckhead Bridge exit toward Tower Place for a less traffic-filled spot to get a car. The Medical Center station is also nearby at 4.7 miles away and is another good option for connecting with Uber or Lyft. Use promo code MARTAGuide to get $20 off your first ride.

Bus

Connect with bus 5 at the Lindbergh Center MARTA station or Dunwoody MARTA station. All gold and red line trains stop at Lindbergh, or take a red line train to Dunwoody (marked “North Springs” if you are traveling from the airport, downtown or midtown). It is free to transfer to the bus from the train.

Exit the bus at the intersection of Roswell Road with Interlochen Drive and walk about 10 minutes to reach the center of the park. Or if you are planning to attend a concert at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre, exit the bus at Roswell Road and W. Wieuca Road and walk about 27 minutes (see walking map).

For real-time bus arrivals, use the OneBusAway website or app. The MARTA on the Go app has printed schedules, or look up the route online.
