MARTA to Chastain Park

Chastain Park is a beautiful park in Buckhead next to a MARTA bus route (but it is not in walking distance of a train station). Park amenities include a golf course, sports fields, tennis center, swimming pool, playground, amphitheatre and horse park.

Explore the various options for getting to the park on transit below.

MARTA + Uber or Lyft

The recommended commute option is to use Uber or Lyft to get to and from the park. Save money by riding a red line train to the Buckhead MARTA station and requesting a car there. The station is about four miles away from the park.

Connect with bus 5 at the Lindbergh Center MARTA station or Dunwoody MARTA station. All gold and red line trains stop at Lindbergh, or take a red line train to Dunwoody (marked “North Springs” if you are traveling from the airport, downtown or midtown). It is free to transfer to the bus from the train.

Exit the bus at the intersection of Roswell Road with Interlochen Drive and walk about 10 minutes to reach the center of the park. We recommend using Google Maps to get specific bus stop and walking directions.

For bus schedules and real-time bus locations on a map, use the MARTA on the Go app.
