Chastain Park offers outdoor music in the summer in the Chastain Park Amphitheater and recreation throughout the year. It is not near a MARTA station, but there are several ways to get there on transit:

MARTA + Uber or Lyft

The recommended commute option is to use Uber or Lyft to get to and from the venue for the last leg of the trip. Save money by riding a red line train to the Buckhead MARTA station. This station is closest to the park, about four miles away.

Take the first Peachtree Road exit out of the station or use the Buckhead Bridge exit toward Tower Place for a less traffic-filled spot to request a car. The Medical Center station is also nearby at 4.7 miles away and is another good option for connecting with Uber or Lyft.

Connect with bus 5 at the Lindbergh Center MARTA station or Dunwoody MARTA station. All gold and red line trains stop at Lindbergh, or take a red line train to Dunwoody (marked “North Springs” if you are traveling from the airport, downtown or midtown). It is free to transfer to the bus from the train.

Exit the bus at the intersection of Roswell Road with Interlochen Drive and walk about 10 minutes to reach the center of the park. Or if you are planning to attend a concert at the Chastain Park Amphitheatre, exit the bus at Roswell Road and W. Wieuca Road and walk about 27 minutes (see walking map).

For schedules and real-time bus locations on a map, use the MARTA on the Go app.
