Candler Park MARTA Station

The Candler Park MARTA station is located on the blue/green rail line at 1475 Dekalb Avenue.  It is primarily a residential area next to the Candler Park and Edgewood neighborhoods.  Nearby attractions and restaurants include Candler Park (the park), Radial Cafe, Wall Crawlers rock climbing gym, Kashi Atlanta and the Flying Biscuit Cafe.  It is also the closest MARTA station to the Fernbank Museum of Natural History.  Regular festivals include the Sweetwater 420 Fest and the Candler Park Fall Fest.

Directions
If you are coming from the red or gold rail lines, such as from the airport, exit at the Five Points station and follow the signs to the Eastbound platform.  Board a train labeled “Candler Park” or “Indian Creek” to get to the Candler Park station.

Parking
There are 679 free daily parking spots, but no overnight parking.

Buses
Buses at this station go to Little Five Points, Poncey Highlands, Inman Park to the King Memorial/Downtown and to Kirkwood via Hosea Williams.  See the full list of bus routes here.

Commute Times
It takes 8 minutes to get to Five Points/downtown and 26-41 minutes to the airport.
