One of Atlanta’s music venues, the Tabernacle is located downtown near the Peachtree Center Station (see area map).  When exiting the station, be sure to take the center set of stairs/escalators that point to Harris Street.   After going through the fare gate, follow the signs to Peachtree Street West.

At street level keep to the right along Peachtree Road before turning right onto Andrew Young International (Hard Rock Cafe will be diagonally across the street).

At Spring Street turn left, then turn right onto Luckie Street just after you walk by Ted’s Montana Grill.  The Tabernacle is less than a block down on the left.

You can also exit at the W1 Station, following Centennial Park Drive north along the park before turning right onto Luckie.    The walk takes about 11 minutes.

The Doraville MARTA Station is the very last stop on the yellow line (view rail map).  To get there, you must board a train that is marked “Doraville”.  You can get on a Doraville train at any point from the Airport Station to Lindbergh.  Lindbergh is the last place where you can board a Doraville train, so if you are riding a North Springs train heading north, you must exit at Lindbergh and wait for a Doraville train.

If you are coming from the North Springs/red line in the north, go south to Lindbergh Station, exit, and transfer to Doraville.

Trains are usually accurately marked and train operators make announcements at Lindbergh to again state what train you are on, and provide a reminder that you might need to change trains.

While MARTA does not extend into Gwinnett, you can connect to the Gwinnett County Transit System from the Doraville Station.  As the last stop on the MARTA yellow line, the Doraville Station provides access to GCT Route 10 that travels up Buford Highway through Norcross, ending at the Gwinnett Transfer Center/Gwinnett Place Mall.  The transfer center allows connections between all five local GCT routes and seven express routes.

There is also GRTA Express Route 410 that goes directly from the Lindbergh Station to Discovery Mills.  And GRTA Express Route 412 goes to Discovery Mills from the Civic Center and Arts Center Stations in addition to several other midtown stops in between.

GRTA Express is $3 one way or $5 roundtrip.  GCT rates vary by route, from $2-$4.  Transfers to/from MARTA are free and you can use your Breeze Card for Route 10.

Yes, you can take MARTA to Cumberland Mall and also have somewhat of a close access to the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre.  It is an easy commute, though a long one.

Take MARTA to the Midtown Station and transfer to bus 12.  After traveling through the west side and parts of Buckhead/Collier Hills, the bus ends at Cumberland Mall.  You can also take the Cobb Community Transit (CCT) bus 10 from the Arts Center Station.

The buses end up at a transfer center behind Cumberland Mall on Cumberland Blvd.  See the area map for information on the proximity to the Cobb Galleria.

You can exit at either the North Avenue or Midtown stations to get to Georgia Tech.

At North Avenue you’ll want to exit at the North Avenue station, following the signs to North Avenue/West Peachtree Street and avoiding the exits pointing to the Fox Theatre.  Walk about five minutes west on North Avenue, crossing over the connector and you’ll reach Bobby Dodd Stadium and further down the Cherry Street entrance to the campus as well as the Student Center (which is a longer hike).

A bit easier option is to exit at Midtown and take one of the Tech Trolleys to campus.  The shuttle picks up at the Peachtree Place station exit and goes down 5th Street and ends near the Ferst Center and the gym.   Bus routes 12 and 37 also depart from the Midtown station and travel down 10th Street at the northern edge of the Tech campus.
