The College Park MARTA station is located at 3800 Main Street on the red/gold rail line, one stop away from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (see area map). All northbound and southbound trains stop at this station.
The area is an interesting mix of a historic district with parks, a golf course, residential areas and undeveloped land. The historic downtown College Park is in walking distance from the station, where you can find several shops and restaurants. Off Main Street there is also a U.S. Post Office, SunTrust bank, College Park Public Library and College Park City Hall. Hotel Indigo and the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration building are next to the station. If you need a vehicle, Enterprise Rent-a-Car is also nearby on Main Street. Partly due to its proximity to the airport, there are many fences and parking lots in the mix (I-85 runs almost next to the station, with the airport on the other side.) The Georgia International Convention Center is also near the station, though best to take a bus.
There is a large free daily parking lot and long-term parking in a garage for $8/day.
Buses that depart from the station travel near the Georgia International Convention Center and on roads such as Camp Creek Parkway, Sylvan Road, Flat Shoals Road and Old National Highway. See a full list of bus routes here.
It takes one minute to get the airport and 15 minutes to the Five Points station.
