The Super 8 Decatur is located at 917 Church Street, just a few blocks away from the Decatur MARTA Station. The hotel features free parking and free continental breakfast.
On MARTA, take a blue line train to the Decatur Station. If coming from downtown or the airport, you must exit at the Five Points Station and follow the signs to the Eastbound train platform. Board an “Indian Creek” train to reach Decatur. Once at the station, take the Church Street exit out of the station, turn left and walk about three blocks, which is about 10 minutes.
Bus 123 also departs the Decatur Station (take the Swanton Way exit out of the station) and has a stop near the hotel if you don’t want to walk.
- A small Kroger is nearby if you need to do any shopping and a public pool is one more block up Church Street at Glenlake Park.
- On weekends and after 7pm, the trains run every 20 minutes. Look up the train schedules online, through the MARTA app or get a printed copy at the Five Points Station so you can avoid long waits.
- Bus 2 departs from the Decatur Station and travels to midtown Atlanta near some tourist attractions, including the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Fox Theatre and The Varsity. For the return trip, make sure you board a bus 2 marked with “Decatur Station”.
