The North Springs MARTA Station is at the very end of the red/north line at 7010 Peachtree Dunwoody Road, just outside I-285 and along GA 400. The station is primarily a commuter station with very little nearby except for residential areas.
To get to North Springs, you must be on a northbound train labeled “North Springs”. You can get on a North Springs train at any station from the Airport to Lindbergh Center, before 9 p.m. After 9 p.m. you must take the first available train (should be marked Doraville) to the Lindbergh Center MARTA station to transfer to a North Springs train. Passengers traveling from the blue or green rail line must also transfer to a northbound train at the Five Points station.
Walk Score: 6/100
Unless you live near the station, there isn’t any major destinations, restaurants or businesses in walking distance. While there are adequate sidewalks, car traffic is not used to pedestrians, so be sure to use crosswalks and use caution when crossing intersections.
There is free daily parking and long-term parking for $8/day in a large parking garage.
Ga. 400 runs next to the station, but you can only enter the station if you are traveling southbound, and can only re-enter Ga. 400 going northbound. When traveling via car, the North Springs station has its own exit (5C) off of Georgia 400 (see map). You can also use the Peachtree Dunwoody Road station entrance.
