Turner Field is located at 755 Hank Aaron Drive SW, closest to the Georgia State MARTA station on the blue/green rail line. It is the current home of the Atlanta Braves and the starting location of several road races, including the Hunger/Walk Run in March.
There are several ways to get to Turner Field on MARTA:
It takes about 25 minutes to walk to Turner Field from the Georgia State station. Take the Piedmont Avenue exit out of the station and turn left and walk south until you reach the stadium.
If you’d rather not walk, but still want to beat the crowds, have Uber pick you up at the Georgia State station or at your home if you live in the nearby area. Use promo code MARTAGuide to get $20 off your first ride.
Most people going to a Braves game take the Braves Shuttle, which picks up passengers next to Underground Atlanta in between the Five Points and Georgia State stations. If you’re traveling via the rail line, it is a free transfer to the shuttle. Just be sure to tap your Breeze Card when entering and exiting all stations.
Bus 55 and bus 32 also depart from the Five Points Station and go to Turner Field. Plan ahead and look at the bus schedules online to know departure times, or use the OneBusAway app for real-time arrivals of buses and MARTA on the Go app for real-time trains, schedules and maps.
